Viessmann Climate Solutions, a leader in integrated energy systems, has unveiled its new heat pump families: the Vitocal 250 and Vitocal 150. Whether users seek top-tier efficiency and comfort or a more budget-friendly solution, these systems provide intelligent, eco-friendly heating with a sleek, modular design.
At the heart of the launch is a fully integrated Viessmann setup — combining the new Vitocal heat pump with Vitovolt PV panels, the Vitocharge energy storage, and a Viessmann Charging Station for electric vehicles. This smart energy ecosystem is tailored to meet the growing demand for sustainable, decentralized energy.
The Vitocal 250-A and 150-A feature sound-optimized outdoor units, operating as quietly as 49 dB(A), complying with noise regulations even when installed just 5 meters from a building. New indoor units (IDUs) — from compact wall-mounted models to modular setups — make installation flexible and maintenance easier, with tool-less hydraulic access and improved venting.
In parallel, the Vitocal 060-A — a space-saving hot water heat pump — delivers up to 62°C water using ambient or outside air. Available in stand-alone or hybrid configurations, it won the iF Design Award 2025 for its clean, functional design.
On the storage side, the Vitocharge VX3 now supports cascade installation up to 75 kWh, ideal for large households or light commercial setups. Paired with Viessmann’s Charging Station, users can enable Green Charging using their own solar surplus — with fast-charging, RFID access, and blackout protection integrated via the ViGuide App.
Additionally, Viessmann now offers a modular electrical switchbox system, reducing installation complexity and enabling plug-and-play extensions for Vitocharge or Wallbox units — a major time-saver for professionals and cost-saver for homeowners.
